Dr. Rogers is a graduate of Western Illinois University and Southern Illinois School of Medicine. He has more than 40 years of family and emergency medicine experience including providing high-quality health care to children, adolescents, and adults.

As medical director, Dr. Rogers’ goal is to “help guide Chestnut Family Health Center in a direction so the community will see it as a valuable and accessible resource for primary health care, behavioral health care, and dental care.”

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Certified Physician Executive.

Dr. Rogers is interested in seeing a wide range of patients who have different needs. He has a special interest in skin conditions and minor office procedures.

When he’s not practicing medicine, he enjoys horticulture, reading, and spending time with his family. He is also an avid runner and has completed the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Run twelve times.

Dr. Brockhouse is a family medicine physician who has practiced in Bloomington- Normal since 1991. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science from Illinois State University. She is a graduate of Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency training at SIU.

Dr. Brockhouse is a board-certified physician focusing on Medication Assisted Recovery. She has been treating Substance Use Disorder since 2014. Dr. Brockhouse’s passion is to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care to individuals suffering from Substance Use Disorder.

Dr. Brown was born in Colorado but grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada. He holds undergraduate degrees in liberal arts and biology. His medical degree and Master of Public Health is from St. George's University School of Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and trail running. Dr. Brown is a part of the OSF Family Medicine Residency program.

Melinda Dial

Melinda is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has her master’s degree in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University and her bachelor’s in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. For more than eight years, Melinda was an emergency room nurse, which gives her extensive knowledge about caring for newborns to geriatrics. She is excited to engage in patient relationships to help improve overall health and wellness. Melinda is always available, takes pride in caring for her patients, and strives to live the Chestnut mission statement: Making a Difference: Improving quality of life through excellence in service. She is committed to go above and beyond to make sure patients feel this in their care. She looks forward to meeting you!

Kelly is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nurse practitioner experience. She completed her Master’s in Public Health from the University of Illinois in Chicago. During her career in Central Illinois, Kelly spent many years at Advocate Bromenn Medical Center in various roles and eight years at Planned Parenthood.

Cindy has a long history in nursing – working primarily in cardiac care and occupational health. After receiving a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Illinois and a doctorate degree in education from Illinois State University, Cindy taught nursing for several years at the baccalaureate and master’s levels at Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing and Methodist College of Nursing. While a very rewarding career path, Cindy missed having her own patients and returned to school at Mennonite College of Nursing at ISU for a post-master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Later, she was drawn to care for those struggling with mental health concerns, and again returned to ISU and obtained a second post-master’s certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Cindy enjoys teaching and collaborating with patients to create an individualized treatment plan that best meets their needs. As a proud member of the Chestnut Family Health Center care team, Cindy strives to make a positive difference in the lives of others and to help each patient achieve and maintain a happy, healthy life.

Brittany is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She received her post-graduate certification and Masters in Adult Gerontology (AGNP) from Maryville University. Brittany has worked in many different practice areas as a nurse and nurse practitioner but has always had a passion for mental health. Brittany’s ambition is to improve access to mental health care and to reduce the stigma with an overall goal of educating the public. Brittany believes in a whole-body approach and feels mental health, just like physical health, requires treatment when changes occur.
