The issue of violence is currently one which has generated wide-spread concern within the United States. With murder reported as the third leading cause of job-related death, this report provides a comprehensive look at an issue of growing concern within the business community. This report provides information on Employee Violent Crime (EVC) as well as other issues of physical trauma within the workplace. The author discusses methods of identifying potentially violent employees, and provides a blueprint for responding proactively to impending violence and for effective follow-up to such situations.
