The Assessment Building System (ABS) is designed to allow data collection through both interactive computer assessments and normal data entry methods.

 Environments: ABS works on a single computer, in a network environment, in a trans-enterprise environment and allows for mobile computers to synchronize with a central database.

 Secure: ABS was designed to address HIPAA security issues. The data is encrypted and password protected. The ABS Administrator defines advanced security features. ABS also allows for the exportation of data to text files for statistical analysis while withholding data marked as confidential.

Minimum Computer Requirements: Recommend at least 500 MHz and 128 MB of RAM for client computer. Clients require Window 9x, NT 4.0 sp6, 2000 or XP. The server (client if stand-alone) should have at least 200 MB of free space to allow for database growth. (The client requires a minimum 350 MHz computer with 75 MB of free space for the client setup and 64 MB of RAM.)
