CHS Home > Services > Research & Training > Bookstore > Coping Lighthouse Institute Publications TRANSITIONS IN LIVING/TRANSITIONS IN COPING Developed for use in the rehabilitation and/or habilitation of adults who suffer from long-term mental illness, these curricula are structured packages of classes and group experiences. Each provide 72 hours of exercises that provide adult coping and living skills, and assist mentally ill adults in gaining and maintaining independence. Transitions In Living/Transitions In Coping have been recognized and included in programs for the 1990 and 1991 International Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services and the American Association for Partial Hospitalizations, Inc. conferences.
