The La Caņada Adolescent Substance Abuse Step-Down Treatment Model offers adolescent treatment providers an innovative program model, which begins with a 30-day residential component, continues with a 60-day intensive outpatient phase, and concludes with a 60-day non-intensive outpatient phase. The La Caņada program uses an integrated treatment model that combines traditional psychiatric and milieu approaches with systems theory and interventions.
