Assessment Building System (ABS) - UPDATES


  • ReportToExcel – ReportToExcel is an AddIn utility for ABS that will export a single case’s data to an Excel spreadsheet. Once the data is in Excel, you can write a macro inside your template to create ad hoc reports, generate graphs, create custom narratives, and compile aggregate data. This zip file contains the RTE_Install.exe installation file for each client computer (i.e., should be installed in each computer’s C:\Program Files\ABS directory or other directory where ABS is installed), sample .xlt template files, and instructions.   • ABS Compactor Update - This update to ABSCompact.exe (version 2.0.0.7, dated 08/30/2004) can be run as a scheduled task on Windows systems. To install, download the ABSCompact.zip  file and extract the Compactsetup.exe file your hard drive.  Run the ABSCompact.exe file and follow the instructions to install the new compact utility to your ABS Program directory (c:\Program Files\ABS by default).

  • ABS Update - This update includes all previously released updates. Additionally, all changes made can now be found in a file called "ABS Update Notes.doc" located in the ABS directory after update. This update is non-critical. (Jan 20, 2004)

  • ABS Update History - This page lists previous ABS updates along with details about changes made to the software for each update.

  • ABS Reader - This file will install ABS Reader version 1.0.  This is a runtime version used to view reports exported from ABS on a computer that does not have ABS installed. (10/3/03)

  • Individual Clinical Profile (ICP)/GAIN Recommendation and Referral Summary - The ICP/G-RRS is the Individual Clinical Profile/GAIN Recommendation and Referral Summary and the replaces the ICP program. This zip file contains the ICP_GRRS.exe installation file for each client computer (i.e., should be installed in each computer's C:\Program Files\ABS directory or other directory where ABS was installed), the grrs.dot Microsoft Word template file to be saved in the ABS Server\Support directory for each instance of an ABS Server, and instructions.
