Student Assistant Programs (SAP) work directly with students needing assistance in more than 30 area schools in McLean, Woodford, DeWitt, and Mason counties. SAP staff work with students to screen for various substance abuse and mental health concerns, develop interventions to address these concerns, and refer students to other services as needed. Staff also conduct support groups and skills-building groups for students and specialized training for teachers and other educators.
