Purpose of Alumni Services

Chestnut recognizes that recovery is a journey that no one should travel alone. The Alumni Services program will provide alumni with support and guidance needed to ensure a successful recovery.

Membership

Membership in Alumni Services is voluntary and open to anyone over the age of 18 who is in recovery. Membership is not contingent on having received treatment through a Chestnut program.

Chestnut continues to develop a strong alumni services program that offers continued support to you and your fellow alumni. Please take a moment to fill out the Alumni Services Questionnaire to give us guidance and direction. Alumni Benefits/Services

Services offered to alumni will focus on providing alumni the opportunity for continued, active engagement post completion of their treatment and aftercare. These opportunities will include:

• Alumni communications
• Access to recovery resources
• Workshops, retreats and classes
• Exposure to volunteer opportunities within Chestnut’s chemical dependency programs as well as other areas
• Access to other alumni support
• Opportunity to participate on the Chestnut Alumni Advisory Board and special events committees
• Monthly fun, sober activities
