Chestnut and Washington University of St. Louis are partners in a Federally funded Substance Abuse and Depression study, which provides screening, assessment, and referral for all adults served in Outpatient Treatment. Up to 8 sessions of case management are available for adults who demonstrate co-occurring depression, to assist them to address the ways in which depression complicates recovery from substance abuse. Mental health treatment is also available for those adults who choose to engage in on-going services.
