If problems are piling up and you feel they may be connected to the use of alcohol or other drugs, the first step toward making a positive change is getting a thorough assessment. An assessment may include an individual diagnostic test, an interview with a counselor, a urine drug screening, collection and review of relevant medical, legal, mental health and previous treatment records, and a physical screening and assessment for detoxification. Assessments ensure each individual's special needs are addressed.
If the assessment suggests that chemical dependency or mental health treatment is appropriate, you may seek treatment with Chestnut Health Systems, or we can refer you to other behavioral health care providers.
Chestnut also provides urine drug screening for the presence of most major drugs, including marijuana, cocaine, barbiturates and amphetamines.
