Through the use of the Global Assessment of Individual Needs (GAIN), and other instruments, Chestnut staff screen and assess youth who may benefit from substance abuse treatment. Our comprehensive assessment practices help us to learn about the whole person, and to plan and provide individualized treatment that effectively matches a youth with effective treatment. Drug testing supports efforts to assist youth to attain sobriety and move to recovery by providing accurate information and timely feedback to treatment staff.
